Our server provider, Salesforce, is reporting an issue with their servers this morning that’s causing login and usage errors on a small number of improveit 360 accounts.
UPDATE: 5.11.16 9:27am EST – FROM SALESFORCE: “The NA14 instance continues to operate in a degraded state. Customers can access the Salesforce service, but we have temporarily suspended some functionality such as weekly exports and sandbox copy functionality. In addition, search indexing may be delayed.”
We are aware of the critical issue and are actively working with Salesforce to resolve it as soon as possible.
Force.com has an impressive record of reliability but there are occasional outages:
Database technology is the persistence layer at the heart of all data-centric applications, in charge of organizing, protecting, and managing shared database access reliably, securely, efficiently. The Force.com database powers all of Salesforce’s products today, serving more than more than 100,000 organizations, 135,000 applications, 3 million users, 1 billion transactions per day with an average request response time of less than 300ms, all with an average up time of 99.9+ percent.
We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this may cause. We will be contacting you again as soon as the issue has been resolved.
