Home Improvement Pros: Stop Paying SEO Companies

The Majority of SEO Services are Ripping You Off

contractor online marketing and seo servicesI wanted to pass along some advice to the home improvement companies out there with websites. Many of your are valued customers, I wanted to make sure you’re not getting ripped off.

Recently, a customer told me he was working with a SEO company. So I took a peak at his site. And… I was furious!

I jokingly told him to stop paying them and send me the cash – then I would do nothing at all and he would get the same result…

He asked what I was talking about and I told him this alleged SEO company didn’t do a single thing to his site. I gave him a 3-page list of all the missing and incorrect SEO-related requirements for his website. “Holy cow!” was his response.

Do not trust these SEO thieves. What is really going on is that these companies either don’t know how to do the optimization correctly, or… they do know but choose not to make the effort to optimize your site.

So, if you get an e-mail from one of them claiming to make you #1 on Google… please, please ignore them. Most of them are up to no good.

You’ll need to find a quality SEO service. And the best way to do that is to watch our Online Marketing Series recording (the 1st on SEO is most important.) 1. James, I couldn’t agree more. There are definitely a large number of seo companies out there who have very low standards and work ethics, so finding professional website optimization help can be tough. I always say that word of mouth is the best way to find a company that’s worth doing business with. Ask around and see what your friends and colleagues have to say.

  1. Very important that your SEO consultant works above board because Google is very strict nowadays. Black hat maneuvers, or, “cheating” the system simply isn’t effective anymore.
