Shooting Video Testimonials of Our Customers

All home pros should be using video – in one form or another – to market your home improvement services. 

It can seem like a daunting task to film your projects, your customers, or your team in action. But cameras are much more affordable these days and make great shots. 

You can even use your iPhone to create videos. 

Well… this week, some of the marketing team members put our money where our mouths are.

We went out to several of our customers to shoot video testimonials. 

We traveled to a local business – Ohio Exteriors – to film HD footage of Liz, their Project Coordinator and CRM Manager on how they use our software to improve their business. 


We even boarded a plane and flew out to Philadelphia to talk to The Patio Kings’ Vice President, Christy Zippi, on how our system helps her manage everything – from entering leads to closing a project.

And we spent time talking with them about ways we can continue to make even more improvements in our system.

So, don’t be afraid to pick up a video camera and shoot your customers talking about your products and your services. It’s a great way to spread the word about your business. 

Finally, even though we had a lot of fancy equipment for our video shoot it doesn’t mean you need to have all the same gear. 

As long as you’ve got good lighting and decent sound, you’ll be able to get good footage.
